Fees

The Law Office of Daniel N. Steven, LLC provides legal services to individuals, families, and small businesses.   Our legal fees are set based upon the type of services selected, area of law, and complexity of issue.  (Our clients pay for quality legal services, not the maintenance of resources they will never use; we keep overhead low).  Discounts are offered to military personnel.   One of the following fee options will apply:

4. Hourly Rate.  For services not listed above, we charge on an hourly basis:  $450/hr for attorneys, $195-$275/hr for law clerks and paralegals.

5. Monthly Retainer.   Where appropriate, we will accept you or your firm as a monthly retainer account.   In exchange for a  flat monthly fee, you are entitled to unlimited phone consultations and a reduced hourly rate. This program is designed for small business and start up situations which may have an ongoing need for services.
